As I alluded to on the previous post, we had the opportunity to worship at the Abbey Church on the feast of Pentecost. We were not really sure what all was being said at Mass, and there were some minor differences – they do only one reading even though it is a Sunday liturgy and they do a benediction with the Blessed Sacrament for the final blessing of Mass – the Mass had the same general form and same message. Though we were praying for the Holy Spirit to give us the gift of a common language, we figured out our way through.
